Statement:
Everyday we have a chance to be the change we want to see in our world. Today we take that chance as a group, 30 friends strong. We represent all of those who are ready for the GLBTQI community to be treated and respected as humyn beings. I am personally invested in this Equality Ride because I choose to no longer live with the results of political, military and religious oppression. I want to call on Christians to love thy neighbor and for the military to practice true freedom from the stale ideologies they strive to uphold. On this ride we will practice the non-violent tactics that have been used before in this country when a minority has demanded equality; and I believe that with this and persistence, we will soon see a country without institutionalized bigotry towards our community.
