SOULFORCE LOCAL GROUP LEADERS TRAINING – to help create and maintain strong local groups across the US (currently there are already 21 licensed local groups affiliated with Soulforce, Inc). Trainings will be held at the Wyngate Hotel Oct 9 from 8:30am-5pm and Oct 10 from 9am – 12 noon.

Oct 10 (Friday evening)
SOULFORCE CELEBRATION AND TRAINING IN NONVIOLENCE – at First Christian Church (Disciples in Christ) in Lynchburg at 7pm.
Registration begins at 4:30pm.
Last year, several anti-gay groups were present at the festival with bull horns and nasty posters. This training will help prepare you mentally and spiritually, and is strongly recommended if you want to vigil on Sunday.
Oct 11 – NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY
CIVIL MARRIAGE EQUALITY FORUM at 9am at First
Christian Church – to help counter the misinformation spread by Jerry Falwell and other rightwing fundamentalists.
SPIRITUAL PREPARATION at 11am at First Christian
Box lunches to be served at 11:30 to all those who are registered
March formation begins at 12:15.
Pride March leaves the church for Riverside Park at 12:30pm.
2nd ANNUAL PRIDE FESTIVAL – "COMING OUT AND ABOUT IN LYNCHBURG" on Saturday, October 11, 2003, National Coming Out Day, from 1pm – 5pm.

THIRD VIGIL AT JERRY FALWELL’S THOMAS ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH – We want to surround him with same-sex partners, pictures of same-sex partners and families, and stories of families and loving relationships from same-sex couples. A blessing of relationships and families will take place.
Our task is to surround the church with truth.
** Soulforce Local Group Training for existing local groups and for those interested in starting a local group – October 9th 8:30am – 5 pm through October 10th 9 am – 12 Noon – to be held at the Wingate Inn Conference Center in Lynchburg, located near Liberty University at 3777 Candlers Mountain Road.
