Union University is just finishing with their spring break when the Soulforce Equality Ride is scheduled to stop there. Despite the timing, the members of the Equality Ride feel called to stop at Union because one of the riders, Dawn Davridge, was kicked out of this school just a few years ago for being a lesbian.
If you are a Union student, Union alumni, or a concerned citizen from the Jackson, Tennessee area and would like to join us at our vigil on campus, we encourage you to sign up to lend your support to our stop there.
The vigil will take place at Miller Tower at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18.
