Concerning GLBT Equality:
The Indiana Wesleyan University 2006-08 student handbook states the following:
Premarital Sex/Sex Outside of Marriage: As a result of many personal and negative societal forces, students may struggle with the temptation of sexual sin (such as premarital sex, adultery, and homosexual behavior). Anyone being tempted in this way is strongly encouraged to seek help from the Student Development Office or Aldersgate Center. Our university is committed to the biblical standard of sexual purity, and we desire to do all we can to reverse the loosening sexual standards of society. Students who willingly come forward to seek help and healing in this area (without prior knowledge by university representatives) will be given support with accountability, while those who do not and violate this standard will be subject to the disciplinary process that includes suspension or dismissal.
Computer and Internet Policy
In keeping with the specific standards outlined in the community lifestyle statement and the student handbook, university equipment should not be used to create, send, receive, or view material containing (except for university sanctioned research):
- Sexually immoral behavior (including but not limited to fornication, adultery, homosexuality, pedophilia, and bestiality).
